Billing Information

Our staff will be able to provide you with information regarding the costs of your initial or follow up consultations. Payment at the time of your consultation is required. A Medicare rebate is generally applicable and we are able and would be happy to process your Medicare rebate claim on your behalf at the time of your consultation.

All WorkCover and other third party consultations will be invoiced directly to the third party provided you have a valid claim number and the consultation has been pre approved.

Should you require surgery we will provide you with a detailed and itemised quote regarding the likely costs of your surgery in relation to the surgical +/- the surgical assistant’s fees only. This will provide you with information in relation to the total fee charged, the Medicare rebate amount (if any), the health fund rebate amount (if any) and any out of pocket component. This quote does not include the costs of any other health providers, including the anaesthetist or the cost of your hospitalisation but we are able to facilitate in obtaining these quotes should you require them.

The fees charged by this practice are generally based on those recommended by the Australian Medical Association (AMA). In general, we do not participate in most health funds’ ‘No Gap’ arrangements. We may, however, participate in a health fund’s ‘Known Gap’ arrangement on a case-by-case basis. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your quote. Please note, except for the general information contained herein, our staff are unable to provide any detailed information of the likely costs of any procedure(s) prior to an initial consultation with our surgeons.
